Bartender/Server

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender/Server to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders/Servers will be able to create classic and innovative drinks, take food orders, deliver food to customers, and provide friendly and positive customer service. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve foods, snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Receive cash and credit card payments and issue correct change
  • Responsible for accurate sales entries in the till/Point-Of-Sale system
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements and skills
  • Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Computer literacy

Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and specialty drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. They also inform customers of any specials and upcoming events. They ensure food and beverage compliance, restock bar inventory, handle cash and credit card payments, and respectfully handle problems with patrons.

Front of House Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
A Front of House (FOH) Manager uses skills in project management and leadership to oversee the FOH staff and FOH operations by making sure it’s clean, functioning efficiently and inviting for customers and ensuring customers consistently have a great experience. Their main duties include ensuring procedures and policies are being followed consistently, managing the FOH shift schedules, managing and resolving customer complaints, and ensuring the FOH’s inventory is well-stocked.
Our Front of House Manager will have the following responsibilities:
  • Staffing
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and review FOH employees. When necessary, discipline or termination of employees based on procedures and policies in our handbook.
  • Supervises and is responsible for FOH employees.
  • Maintains consistency and efficiency of work output from FOH employees by holding FOH employees accountable.
  • Handle customer complaints in a constructive, polite, and firm manner. Upholding our company core values.
  • Ensure FOH employees are following all food control and safety regulations.
  • Supervises and is responsible for FOH employee schedules based on expected customer numbers and to keep FOH labor costs down to a minimum.
  • Tend the bar and fill holes in schedules or when demand is high.
  • Appropriately delegate tasks to FOH employees when necessary to efficiently complete tasks.
Bar Operations:
  • Supervises and is responsible for maintaining FOH inventory and supplies.
  • Ensures the FOH, bar, bathrooms, outside, and FOH stock and supply storage areas are appropriately stocked, organized, and cleaned daily.
  • Tracks customer behavior and FOH sales through reporting data at Level 10 meetings.
  • Maintains FOH budget and monitors FOH costs.
  • Maintains drink recipe documentation.
  • Initiates and maintains vendor relationships.
  • Ensures FOH invoices and receipts are prepared and delivered to accounting.
  • Uses Toast POS and Homebase scheduling and messaging app.
  • Ensures cash tills are properly stocked daily.
  • Oversees the proper operation and income reporting of entertainment games.
Promotion:
  • Works with BOH to schedule and advertise our food and drink specials. Communicate with the Marketing & Events Team as needed.
  • Ensures FOH signage is updated with food and drink specials.
  • Supervises drink menu creation and works with the Marketing & Events Team for print, social, and web updates.
  • Gives constructive input and collaborates with the Marketing & Events Team when planning for special events.
  • Ensures floor plans are set for specific events.
Work Hours & Benefits:
The Front of House Manager will oversee FOH staff and will report to the Operations Manager. This is a full-time position and scheduled hours will be set based on staffing needs and approved by the Operations Manager. Benefits include paid time off and overtime pay (available on rare occasions). Hourly wage based on experience + tips. Increases in hourly wage based on quarterly reviews. Our preferred start date is ASAP.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

  • Wisconsin Operator’s (Bartender’s) License required. You may take the class after you are hired.

  • Familiarity with the Toast POS and Homebase scheduling and messaging app is a plus.
  • Graphic design skills and use of content creation apps are a plus.
